26th, 27th and 28th of August 2015 Federico’s works are easily recognisable amongst thousands of others, because just as soon as you get close enough, you notice that what seemed to be paintbrush strokes are actually the result of very careful and meticulous use of stamps. In fact, the artist uses timestamps to create lighter and darker shades in his images. He taught this particular technique to the children at Dynamo. A number of places and subjects where represented in the art pieces; from the circus, to a horse, to the path leading to the pool and each of them will represent the time these children spent enjoying the magical Dynamo experience. This is what makes Federico Pietrella’s works so particular: The children and adolescents created images representing the nature and landscapes surrounding the camp, by using the timestamps with the dates of their unforgettable stay at Dynamo.
