From the age of 12 Pietro D’Angelo began to frequent the studio of a noted sculptor from Palermo, learning about various techniques involving terracotta, resins and bronze. He graduated in 1992 from Palermo’s artistic high school. In 1998 he also began frequenting a sculptor’s studio where he learned how to work with marble and semiprecious stones. In 1999 he moved to Bologna, where he enrolled at the Accademia di Belle Arti to study sculpture where he graduated with honors. After his degree, he returned to Palermo to live and where he qualified to teach Art.
Since 2002 he has participated in various group shows and fairs in Italy, in Europe and in the USA and can add to his credits, four solo shows in Latina and Velletri (Rome) in 2004, Palermo (Sicily, 2006), Monreale (2008) and Milan (2011).
