In 1983 he attended the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Venice following, among others Italo Zannier’s photography courses. Influenced by Diane Arbus’ work he engaged in his own research concentrating on the themes of diversity and alienation. In 1989 he traveled to Mexico where he spent 2 years working in Enrique Norten’s studio studying Mexican muralist painting techniques. His first oil paintings date from this time.
Following numerous exhibitions and awards he has recently been experimenting with video installation and sculpture projects. In 2012 he exhibited in the Promenade Gallery in Valona (Albany) in “ Breve Storia Della Matita” and at the Miomao Gallery in Perugia, in“ Hasta la Muerte”, curated by Alberto Zanchetta. In 2011 he participated in the 54th Biennale in Venice; in the ‘’ Vulpes Plinum Mutare’’ exhibition at the Museo Civico in Bassano del Grappa curated by Carolina Lio. Once again in Venice he exhibited in “Un Giardino Incantato”, at Palazzo Soranzo Cappello curated by Elisabeth Sarah Gluckstein. He lives and work in Milan.
