Edith Kia, (Chiara Edith Capellini), currently creative head of the Fasten Seat Belt Agency. Born in Milan in 1981.
In 2006 she graduated in graphic design and illustration from the Naba in Milan and in 2005 followed a course in illustration, typography, poster design at the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence. Edith Kia has been moving in the visual and creative communication circles since 2004, collaborating with Urban Magazine, Sole 24 ore, Rolling Stone Magazine and agencies like Piano B.
Between 2008-2009 she was graphic designer, illustrator, creator for brands such as Bastard, Vibram, Coin, Mascalzone latino, La Rinascente, Gobbetto creating shop windows, clothing lines and special collections. In 2006 she won 3rd prize in Billabong’s See me speak art contest USA and received an honorable mention in the Ride Snowboard art Contest USA. The target of her artistic research is a synthesis on the theme of creation in the area of visual imagination with a digital style in a contemporary landscape.
