Davide Dormino was born in Udine on 19 June 1973: he is a sculptor and visual artist. His research is expressed through drawing as a project for sculpture. He looks for new forms elaborating the archaic systems of processing raw materials, especially iron. He interacts with other artistic expressions like music and fashion to continuously feed his work. He confronts himself with various sizes, operating at each scale that is able to represent the idea and insert it into the most suitable container. Large and small works, processed materials without artifice, but adapted to the desire to interpret the timeless spirit of the story of an event or of his own contemporary artist’s soul. He works in Rome and teaches sculpture at R.U.F.A. University of Fine Arts in Rome.
